Our free app is available in the PlayStore and the App Store. All you need is a WiFi connection. Once you download our app, you can create an account, assign yourself a number (with a local area code), and start sending messages and making calls to your contacts. Don’t have a smartphone? You can download our app on a tablet. Don’t have either? Use your computer to create an account and and have the same calling and texting privileges straight from your desktop!

Once you have the app, you have the option to add upgrades that fit your needs.

WiFi Talk & Text (Ad Free+)

Our Ad Free+ plan bundles our most popular calling features together in one place, for a low monthly cost of $9.99. These features include: call forwarding, phone number locking, voicemail transcriptions and ad removal.

From here, you can choose to have your Ad Free+ feature auto-renew monthly or annually.

Free Nationwide Talk & Text

For our customers in the U.S., our Free Nationwide Talk & Text plan offers free, unlimited calling and texting to the U.S. and Canada on the Nationwide Sprint® Network*, with the purchase of an activation kit for a one-time fee of $9.99. You can check if your phone is compatible before purchasing.

Data Add Ons

Lastly, if you find yourself in need of a little extra data every now and then, TextNow offers data add-on options for those who might need some extra coverage beyond WiFi.

Our flexible service is designed to meet the needs of every budget — even $0. There is never a fee for changing your plan — you can add data one month, and go back to Free WiFi Talk & Text the next, with no penalty.
